Recently, I have just started to watch a Japanese drama entitled "One Litre of Tears" which is highly recommended by a friend, Pauline. According to her, it is based on true story about a 15 years old japanese teenager girl, Kito Aya, who was diagnosed with a disease named spinocerebellar atrophy and was able to continue her life until she was at the age of 25 years old. Her braveness and 'never give up' attitude was pass on through her diary to encourage herself to be strong to go on with her life. She kept writing in her diary to remember her experiences until she could no longer hold a pen.
Aya simply wished to live until the end of her life, and the purpose of writing in the diary was to remind herself to not give up. She shed tears many times, at the same time encompassed by the rich love and support from her family, friends, and boyfriend. Her diary “1 Litre of Tears” was published after her death, because of its inspiring and courageous message of, “Just being alive is such a lovely and wonderful thing.”
I think it is not an ordinary drama but a very meaningful one though I am just watching the 1st episode today. At first, I was quite frustrated being unable to open her VCD due to the codec file is acquired. I do not know how, where and which to download the codec file. Though I have tried to download, yet it seems not working. However, thank you to youtube where it provides to watch for free.
